The backup pair works with your pad, tampon or cup — not instead of it.

How to wash period underwear so the lining lasts

How we wash YOYI FASHION period underwear: cold rinse, gentle wash, air dry, and why the tumble dryer is the one thing to avoid.

  1. Rinse first

Run cold water through the gusset until it runs clear. Cold matters: hot water sets a stain.

  2. Wash gently

Hand wash, or use a machine cycle with similar colours. Skip bleach and fabric softener — both coat or weaken the lining.

  3. Air dry, always

Hang the pair or lay it flat. Do not put period underwear in the tumble dryer; the heat damages the water-resistant layer and can shrink the brief.

  4. Rotate the pack

A pair needs a day to dry fully. That is why we sell packs of three to six: wear one, wash one, keep one ready.

Swim pieces follow the same logic: machine wash cold after the pool, then lay flat to dry.
